Amanda Hermann

ACT Board Vice President

Amanda Herrmann earned her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from East Tennessee State University in 2013 and became a licensed speech-language pathologist in Arizona the same year. After moving to Arizona, Amanda began working with ACT, serving Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) clients. She quickly developed a passion for supporting the birth to three population and their families, dedicating the past 13 years to AzEIP and ACT.

 

Specializing in early intervention with a Master Teams Coaching certification, Amanda continues to expand her expertise. She recently became an Infant Early Childhood Family Specialist having received her Infant Toddler Mental Health endorsement. Additionally, Amanda enjoys teaching SLP graduate students and supervising SLPA’s in the field. 

 

Amanda is the managing partner and co-owner of Arizona Speech Pathology, alongside her business partner, Patricia Nedberg. Founded in 1978, Arizona Speech Pathology has been an active member of ACT since 2006. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Amanda works full-time as a treating SLP in AzEIP and now serves as the vice president of ACT.

 

She is excited to continue learning, growing, and supporting families, clients, and clinicians in early intervention services.
